It measures a student's skills in critical reading, math, and writing, assessing their readiness for college-level studies. The SAT is administered by the College Board.

The SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) is a standardized exam widely used for undergraduate college admissions, especially in the United States and several other countries. It measures a student’s readiness for college by testing Math, Reading, and Writing skills. The test lasts about 2 hours and 14 minutes in its current digital format. The Reading and Writing section (64 minutes) combines grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension tasks based on short texts. The Math section (70 minutes) tests algebra, problem-solving, data analysis, and advanced math (some questions allow calculator use, some don’t). Each section is scored on a scale of 200–800, with a total score out of 1600. The SAT does not include an essay section anymore. It is conducted multiple times a year and accepted by thousands of universities around the world, making it a key requirement for international students aiming to study in the U.S. and beyond.
